Online Company Tax Returns

From April 2011, all UK companies, clubs, societies, associations and other unincorporaed bodies will be required to:

 

  • File their company tax returns online for all returns delivered after 31 March 2011, for accounting periods after 31 March 2010
  • Pay their Corporation Tax electronically

 

Signing Up to the CT online service

If you haven’t yet signed up to use the CT online service it is easy to enrol. Simply go to the HM Revenue & Customs website and select ‘Corporation Tax’ from the do it online menu. Click on ‘register’ in the new user section and follow the on-screen propmts.

An Activation Code (PIN) will be sent in the post within 7 days, and you’re ready to start.
